 Returns

Our policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, uncut, unwashed, and in the same condition that you received it. Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.

Gift cards are not returnable or refundable. 

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Please do not send your purchase back to the store unsolicited.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable)
- Items with obvious signs of use
- Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error

Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days. Additionally, your return may be subject to a restocking fee of 25% of the item value. This restocking fee is entirely at our discretion. An example of when you may be required to pay a restocking fee is a situation in which fabric has been cut off the bolt to fulfill your order and can no longer be sold in a continuous length to another buyer. Other situations may also be subject to this fee and will be evaluated on a case by case basis.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at tissusforyou@gmail.com.

Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at tissusforyou@gmail.com

Cancellations
We know how much you love our fabric and that's why we try our best to process your orders as quickly as possible.  This means that oftentimes we have your orders prepared well in advance of when they are marked as shipped. As such, all order cancellations are subject to a 25% restocking fee without exception.  Please take care when you place your order as cancelling can be costly. 

Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

Shipping Back Your Return
Before returning any item, make sure you have contacted us to obtain approval.  Unsolicited packages may be refused and returned to sender.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the restocking fee will be deducted from your refund before it is processed.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary. In the case of an exchange, unless otherwise agreed, the buyer must cover the shipping costs in both directions and an invoice will be issued which must be paid before we will ship the new item(s) back to you.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a traceable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.  Therefore, the buyer must assume all risks.

Discount Codes:

Coupon codes MUST be used at checkout. We cannot apply codes to orders if they were not used at checkout, so be sure to enter them if you want to participate in the sale. A request to cancel your order because you forgot to put in the coupon code will result in a penalty of 25% of the total value of the order. Please see our cancellation policy above for more information.

Lost Parcels:

Buyers are responsible for the accuracy of their shipping address.  Packages being returned to sender due to incorrect shipping addresses which are not our fault will be subject to one of the following:

  1. - You may be required to pay shipping charges again.
  2. - In the case where we have been charged for an address correction, you will be required to absorb that cost in full in addition to paying for the repeat shipping of your package.
  3. - In the case where an attempt to cancel the order is made due to problems with the address provided by the customer on the order at the time of purchase or due to a refusal to pay additional shipping charges because of said error, a penalty of 50% of the order's total value will be charged for the loss of materials and for wasting our time. We will not refund shipping charges incurred on the original order. 

If you package has been deemed lost. (over 30 days with no movement on the tracking number). Then a full refund will be issued.

Tissus for You CANNOT issue a refund/shop credit for packages that are marked as delivered. Nor will a replacement be sent. Please contact your local post office or courier company to resolve this issue.

Pricing Errors:

We reserve the right to cancel any orders with pricing errors. 

Out Of Stock Products: 

Occasionally, an item you purchase may be out of stock. You will be given the option of a refund, or replacement. If you chose to replace with an item of greater value, you will be responsible for the difference in cost.  During clearance sales: Out of stock products will be automatically refunded without prior notification.

Issues:

If you have an issue with your Tissus For You order please contact us within 7 days of receiving it. We are unable to help with issues that have not been reported within this time frame. The fabric must be unwashed and uncut. We are unable to cover any fabric that has been washed and/or cut before we are contacted.

Flaws: 

We do not cover insignificant flaws which include but are not limited to: small flecks, smudges, or anything smaller than a quarter.  Sometimes marks can be left near the selvage edges of the fabric due to production methods which are outside our control.  

If you do receive fabric with a significant flaw, please be sure to measure the yardage (unwashed), as often we will include flaws as additional yardage to your order, rather than the fabric going to waste.

Fabric photos my differ slightly from Screen to Screen, we are unable to refund orders due to this.

 

Layaways and Laybuys 

Tissus for You is happy to offer a Layaway program with secure checkout through Paypal.  Any orders which are set aside and not completed by the due date will be immediately cancelled and NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN.
